Keep them... My dad is playing my great great uncle's pipes. Keep them in the family... I bet there would be some kiddie in the years to come who would be interested in the story of their family member who was a piper and may take it up. Then have the joy of playing their relatives pipes and your keeping them in the family.

Keep them, and pass them onto one of my kids.

Young fella is 12, and is coming on well, he'll be playing at the solos tomorrow.

He'll get mine in a few years when I drop down and he moves up, I bought him a set of Kintails last year, so they'll do me in my dotage.

Have a daughter whos interested too, but shes a drummer, we don't like to talk about her in decent company tho'

I have my fathers turn of the century Lawrie's as well as an old set of Hendy's. If I'm lucky enough to have a son, he'll get one of them.

If they canny come in ma coffin and be burnt wi' me (HSE won't allow it), then my wife will donate them to some up and coming youngster who will appreciate and take good care of them.
