Moose Bags
Just wondering if anyone is using one. I am thinking about sticking one on a set of pipes with Ross guts, moose valve and the clear pipe as Gordy uses. Just like the look of it compared to the ross bag, not that there is anything wrong with ross version, just i am not keen on clamping all stocks on a set of pipes that are going to cost a mint. Planning on using canning reeds if they work out in my Graingers, if not cane croziers. Cheers for any info, prob not a great deal of difference in the 2 but would be nice to know.

Could always use a Camore zipper,
Only jubilee clip is on the chanter, or you can tie that in properly.
I have used the Canmore and had no probs, slip the stocks in and tape them with insulating tape
Cheers

Re: Moose Bags
Also interested in the Moose. I have used the moose valve and thought it was well made and works very well. Curious about the collars in that they are ribbed to better seal with the combing? Just curious if this will give a better seal with all combing or just some? Seems like Australia is the pipebag mecca of late as there is another new bag coming out from there, the Monarch I think. Moose is also coming out with a mcs for the bag, would like to see what that will be.

Re: Moose Bags
Bloody confused here!
A "moose" bag to me is "hide" (is a Moose not of of the deer family?)
Depending on whether you are a wet or dry blower I would suggest either a sheepskin or hide bag. A hide bag to me is for a very "dry" blower.
Is the term "Moose" maybe by any chance a retail term of which I have nor come across.
