Good Kilt Sites Empty Good Kilt Sites

Post by DavidH Thu 15 Nov - 23:48:24

The first is a quite interesting and entertaining eBook, written by a probable
distant cousin of mine. I've been in touch with him and we're working on the genealogical side of things.

The treatise is entitled "Kilts & Tartan Made Easy" by Dr. Nicholas J. Fiddes and can be found on his website here:

http://clan.com/kiltsandtartan/

Nick does get in the odd commercial message and whether or not you agree
with his opinions is up to you, but I found it quite an entertaining
read.

I came across this forum the other day and dropped back today for a
better look. It's a big forum with 2701 members, 990 of them active,
and covers every conceivable topic related to kilts, plus a few others. I noticed a lot of posts, especially in the Kilt Advice forum, that I want to get back and read. There seems to be a good mix of traditionalists and flaming radicals on there and some great senses of humour.
