Pics in a post.

Can someone provide a dead easy step by step guide on placing pics in a post!

How the devil are ya? Well a put pics in ma posts by clicking on the wee icon above with the floppy disk pic and loggin to the website. U can then upload pics. Once the pics have been uploaded it will give you a file url. Copy the url then click on the link icon above 2 to the right of the icon you clicked to upload the pics. then paste your url code into that and click ok. Sometimes it will upload your pic twice but if you preview your post before sending it you can see if the code has been posted twice and just delete one of them. A hope that makes sense.

Is that meant to be easy???

The pics are on my computer so how come I need a URL (is that no a web address?)

I find it easier and quicker to telephone then text !!!!!! Maybe my pics will just stay where they are.

haha nah when u host a pic ur saving it to a website so its giving u the url where u can find the website. But never mind

Stormy, I find it easier to use photbucket, a site that store your pics online.
After opening a free photobucket account, you will see an upload box,
1) click browse. This will open your computer files.
2) Go to the file which holds the pic,
3) open the file, click on the pic and then click open, at the bottom of the window. This will select the file to photobucket.
4) Now on photobucket click upload and wait. It will tell you when it is finished.
5) Go to the bottom of the photo and left click the last box, I think it's IMG box. It will say 'copied'
6) From there you just return to your post/reply and paste it in.

Hope this helps, if you decide to do it this way.

I would definately use the photobucket one Stormy? I use it. so that immediately lets you know it's got to be easy>

.....how did you manage to get your photo in the avatar then ?

Stormy if you want to email the pic to me, I can post it for you then you can come in and post what you want to say.

I am sure you have put photos n here before Stormy? or was thast in another Place? in another World?
