We have band tonight and then we're staying in Glasgow tomorrow so good luck to everyone on Saturday. Hope all members on here bring home some silverware. No doubt see some of you at the park.

Re: Dumbarton
Yeah it is a pain,
We're on just before Boghall, might manage a coupel of quickies then off to the ferry.
Pain, but does serve to keep the costs down

Re: Dumbarton
if this weather continues there is 2 options here....(over and above the cancellation)
1/ there wont any room in the beer tent left
2/ there wont be a blooming beer tent left standing, it will be blown away

Re: Dumbarton
There was nae sign o Richard yesterday!! I met up with Robbie n forgot to boot his ass!!! Saw Fee as she was going to get ready for the march past. Managed to catch up with some old friends which was fantastic especially when they found out I was playing again. I watched Central Scotland Police warm up and play and was very dissapointed especially when theres 7 ex clan pipers in their ranks, listened to Robbie and co as they earned a place in the final, missed Boghall and Ballycoan. Watched Shotts warm up and play, I was really looking forward to seeing them as I am a fan or was, they were dire!! Out of interest I watched Strathclyde and was blown away they were superb. Watched FMM with the Robster they sounded sweet. I spent alot of time watching 3b as thats where Ill be competing when the bands gets out. Made a prediction of the grade and I wasnt far away out of the 4 bands I predicted I was spot on with the winner, 2 were in the prizes and the fourth was 7th. The beer tent was mobbed at the end thats how I missed boghall and Ballycoan!! Had to go for another!!!!!!!!!!!

Never seen Rubes - kinda juggled between G2 and G1
Thought Strathclyde polis were robbed myself top 3 at least !!
Was Really Surprised that FMM won it as there were a few mistakes throughout,And the sound wasnt as bright as has been - and ime a huge FMM fan !!! Slot had a good clean run with good sound , good to see Mr Tully has been practising his starts... lol
Thought Ballycoan had a decent run pity the young guy next to the P.S took a couple of atempts to get up - right in front of Jim Wark as well - will that be classed as instrument malfunction ???
Boghall must be fuming played really well - but i wouldnt want to be their drone tuner on monday practise night -
L&B had a good clean run - drone sound still lacks something though.
