Did we?.............class, canne remember. The Guinness 'n Buckie was goin' down a treat....
Thanks Katie xxxxx, big improvement from last week, a was well chuffed. Nice wee boost fer the Worlds, but TBH a top 8 placing wid do me fine...........OR even in the prize list, imo this is not beyond the band, but being realistic a top 8 as I said would be a good result first year up.
Ma heid is poundin'(WTF is all that rice 'n stuff daein' o'er ma kilt?????, just woke up btw on ma couch)............how can anyone look forward da next week knowin' yer heid is gonna be worse than it is the noo..........jeeze it's hard bein' a social drinker/piper.

Well done to the band mate,
You were pretty spectacular going on to the finale,
Do you remember blowing me a kiss as you walked past us????
'bout time Drumlough got a mention, we were pleased enough with our placing behind FM, which was what we set out to do, and obviously keep the bands who have to qualify behind us
Good day all round for forum members, and I finished mine off with large amounts of Bacardi,
Great stuff

Well done Iain. Didnt get a chance to hear the band. When I saw you were well oiled. BTW one of the FM pipers on the front rank didnt get their pipes up for the medley so thought that should have went to the Aussie Highlanders.

Re: Ulster Championships
Well done Drumlough and Redneck.
I'll be cheering from a distance, for Drumlough at the worlds.
Whilst last year was a season of excitment that we got to share, it's been just as interesting this year, reading about the work put in to get everyone in the right place mentally and with confidence playing in a higher grade.
Thanks Iain and good luck.

Thanks fer yer kind words of encouragement, indeed this year has been an enlightenment, although the amount of silverware will never be that of the 2007 season 6 cups in a higher grade IMO is still a good return.
The times the band weren't placed we just missed out on EP, apart from last weeks whitewash........ , which makes the 2nd place at the Ulster Championships even more sweeter.
This weekend we will be just as hyped, but realisticly at top 10-8 plce would be a good result 6th place even better.
Can't wait da the season's over da get stuck inda the new stuff fer next year.
Few wee snaps from the Bowling club as we relaxed after our set.
Ian, Stevie 'n Amanda
Guess who's sitting here then...?
Lorraine 'n ma Da ( No1 Drumlough fan, bit the worst fer wear... )
Guess who ?
