RSPBA and Judges

Well my opinion has changed on this from.............to.................Richard and I talked about an incident that happened at a contest last year ( no names ), point fixing and sheet amendments. This was witnessed by two other judges ( again, no names )........so, if this is the result of the RSPBA taking a positive action to eradicate some of the crooks then power da their elbow.
WELL DONE RSPBA.
Now don't get me wrong here, the RSPBA know the offenders......hence the request ( as I see it ) for paperwork. Sure, the innocent will suffer, as they always do......but in this case a think it was justified.

If "Shepherd" was a Canadian clan would this have happened years ago???

I think the RSPBA has got this pretty well correct.

I saw and heard what went on at a certain contest, and know who was involved.

It was blatant cheating, but in a crafty way, walking far away from the problem area does allow you to honestly say that you heard nothing wrong.

For RSPBA to tackle this head on may well have caused major ructions, so they devised a wee plan to screw up the foreigners for a year or two, a quiet word in the offenders ear on the Q/T may also help.

Or, as Ron says they might well be just winding up the Canadians, no crime there then

@Stormy, Shepherd clan is right, that crowd have have more dodgy decisions over the years than Man utd have had penalty claims, should have been binned years ago.

This, and the judging allocation proves something I have said for years, and that is that if you have a vested financial interest in the Pipe Band world, you must not be allowed to judge, tha includes being a paid tutor to a band as well as having a bagpipe company
