How many comps in a season?
Less than 2 weeks to go until the season kicks off,
How many competitions do you want to do?
We do 5 majors and this year will be doing 10 local comps.
15 in total.
I can remember when the season started with the Ulster quartet piping which was usualy held in the second weekend in March followed by a series of indoor miniband comps, then the season proper.
20 or so competitions, then solos as well
What is now an acceptable amount?
It seems to be less to me than it used to be
Personally I don't like the indoor bands, I prefer the mini's, and can remember the fantastic atmosphere in Ballygowan Church hall every Easter Saturday. So too can Redneck I'm sure
Thoughts please

Yes indeed m8, great contest. That was when the RAMS were in their high days. We'd clean that contest every time RAMS a, b, c 1st,2nd,3rd.( not always in that order either lol )
Funny thing Gordy, that was my first contest as PM wi the RAMS, 3rd a think. Denver was judging. He judged the following week also at Balee High School. Which we won.
Great memories indeed m8.
TBH, ad compete every weekend from May da August lol.
