New on the market.
Some new fangled invention comes into the market, whether it be a style of bag, reed adjuster, tuning aid, chanter with a certain pitch or whatever, are you inclined to say "Gee, I must have that" or "I'll wait and see how any reviews go" or "Not interested, happy with what I've got" ???

Very true,
A few years ago, when I lived in Scotland, I was fly fishing at a wee Loch.
Got talking to this guy about 75 years old, he had a box with 6 flies in it, and caught as much as anyone.
I had boxes of the things, and he said to me, about 5% of fishing tackle is made to catch fish, the rest is made to catch fishermen.
How true is that, seems pipes are going the same way,

I suppose that in reality you must be split on what to say here.
As a retailer....buy it in immediately and hope it sells so I can become rich!
As a piper.......would you really want to buy it just because it is new to the market!
I'm sure that you know where you stand and that you have no "moral" predicament!!!
"LOADS A MONEY" (oft quoted by a Harry Enfield character).....

It depends on whether it makes my life easier or not. If it wasn't for innovations we'd all be playing two blades of grass with a sheeps thigh bone as a chanter. The true worth of any new product is whether it stands the test of time or not.
